Christmas 2010

So, here's the rest of the story from the post before!
After I found out I was pregnant and blogged about it, I tried to go back to sleep.  I laid awake for about 30-45 minutes thinking about how I was going to tell Jason and the rest of my family...  I must have fallen asleep because when I woke up, I realized that I had been dreaming about telling everyone and at first I thought I already had!  I jumped out of bed and told Jason that the kids were up and we needed to get ready to do Santa stuff.  I was SOOOOO nervous!  I kept taking deep (loud) breaths and Jason asked me what was wrong!  I told him nothing, but we needed to hurry and get out to the living room.  I quickly left the room and grabbed a gift that I had wrapped in a really pretty box with a pretty bow for Jason's dad.  I quickly unwrapped it, took out Jason's dad's gift and put the positive pregnancy test inside (sorry James!).  I ran and placed it on the mantel above Jason's stocking.
Soon after that our "Christmas" started.  The kids ran down the stairs and were knee deep in Santa stuff.  Meanwhile, the stockings for the adults were being passed out.  After everyone had their stocking I said, "Ok!  Yall watch Jason open this!".  I quickly gave him the gift (I just couldn't hold it in any longer!).  He opened it and couldn't believe it!  He said "No Way!" or something like that...and I yelled out "I'm PREGNANT!".  Everyone was so excited!  AND in disbelief because this was the first month we've "tried" to get pregnant.  My sister and sister- in- law both knew we were trying but my mom thought we were waiting till next year, so she was EXTRA surprised!

We are SO happy and have had so much fun the past couple of days talking about our new baby.  It's so much fun to think of new names and new ideas for a nursery.  Kohen of course has no idea what is going on, but I tell him all the time that Mommy has a baby in her tummy!  He just says "Baby!".  It's so cute.  I still can't believe my baby is going to have a brother or sister in September!  I can't wait!!!

Here is what Jason opened....

Here is a peek into our Christmas!...

We had 12 stockings this year!  We also had Christmas with Kristin and Scott for the first time in YEARS because they were BOTH able to get off work this year for Christmas....  Too bad hospitals don't get to close for Christmas :(

Think he's had enough excitement! LOL

Kohen took a nice long nap, and later that night our friend Paul and his little boy Travis drove over to show us what Santa brought their two boys....

A dirt bike and a 4-wheeler!  I think Jason was jealous of the dirt bike! HA!

I love that the dirt bike has training wheels!  Paul rode his son's 4 wheeler over.... Tre' wanted to stay home with his momma :)

The day after Christmas, we loaded up and headed to Fordyce for Christmas #2!

Poppa video tapping...

Kohen was a little protective of his Poppa I think :)  Every time another kiddo would talk to him, Kohen would jump up in his lap!

I don't like this picture of me,  but I posted it anyway because I think it's just about he only picture of me during Christmas!  Plus, my hubby looks pretty cute :)

By the way, we told Jason's family that we are pregnant while in Fordyce.  We waited until everyone was gathered for the blessing and Jason announced it.  Everyone was very excited for us!  This will be grand-baby lucky #13 for the Smith's!
