Yay! After reading Sarah's blog about baby Zane for 4 months, we finally got to meet him! Kohen and I went to Target today to pick up a few things. I went by the pharmacy to see if Sarah was working. I was SOOOO happy to see she was working and even better, Zane was there visiting his momma! Above is a picture of Zane and Kohen :)
Before we get into Fordyce and Jeep pictures, I wanted to post two sweet pictures of my cutie ;)
This weekend was the Fordyce on the Cotton Belt festival. Jason, Kohen and I went to Fordyce for the afternoon to watch the parade and walk around the festival with Jason's parents, Julie, AnnaGrace and Julianne. Kohen loved his first parade!

Let the parade begin....with a TON of motorcycles! VROOOM VROOOM!
Gotta have the classic cars....
And only in Arkansas would you see just as many tractors! I love this picture!!!!
This is Erica Jo....she was the winner of Nashville star a few years ago. I only watched one season of Nashville star and it happened to be the season that she won, so I was pretty excited to see her! (later we got to hear her sing)
I love the Fordyce Redbug on the tuba!
These guys really shot their guns...very loud...
This is the new Fordyce ladder tuck
And of course, the parade ended with the horses. :) We had a great time!
This is Kohen's new walker! He LOVES it! He likes to honk the horn with his face-you'll have to watch the video below! Honking the horn with his face!
OMG!!! Today Kohen put my finger in his mouth and I thought I felt something....I looked in his mouth and sure enough, it was a tooth!!!!-or at least the very tip top of one!!! I've never been more excited that his daddy is a dentist! HA! I was SOOOOOO excited to tell Jason. I tried to wait until he came home for lunch, but I couldn't help it....I told him on the phone :)
When Jason got home, he confirmed it!!!!! My baby has a tooth!!!!!!!!!
Peyton went on a walk with us! He did so good! He just stayed in the little basket the whole time. He just looked around and watched the cars go by. I don't know if Dentin would have been so calm! When we got home, I brought the stroller inside and Peyton stayed in the basket and took a nap :)
Kristin, Mom, Kohen and I went to Lake Valencia yesterday to watch Dad and Scott fish. It was such a cold day, we didn't stay long. We ended up leaving Scott and Dad there and we went to Sonic instead :). My future sis-in-law and my bro
Happy Easter!!! This morning we went to church with my Mom, Dad, Shelley, Max and Maddie. It was a VERY rainy day. After church we went to eat at Chilies and ran into my aunt and cousin! We decided not to cook a big meal...instead we just made desserts. This worked out well because we didn't have to clean the kitchen after lunch (and we had some fab desserts)! We had to hunt Easter eggs inside since it was raining, but Max and Maddie didn't seem to mind! Above is a picture of Kohen's very first Easter basket from the Easter Bunny :) Don't miss the video at the end of this huge post! Enjoy our Easter pics! Kohen looking at what the Easter Bunny brought him Daddy reading to Kohen Kohen, Mimi and Poppy at church.
Kohen loved playing with Daddy's tie :)

"Cone" cakes with icing and candy on top
Shelley made these delicious blueberry tarts
Mom made this double-decker fudge
Shelley's preggo belly is starting to grow!!!
Shelley decided, since it was Easter, that Kohen HAD to put on Max's chicken outfit from when he was a baby!!!
I don't know if you can see the monogram...it's Kohen's initials Below is the video of Kohen seeing his Easter basket!
Jason and I met in college at Henderson State University. In 2001 we started dating and got married May 31, 2003. I graduated with a BS in Art Education and Jason graduated with a degree in Biology/ Pre-Dental. A month after we were married, we moved to Kansas City so Jason could attend UMKC School of Dentistry. During the four years Jason was in dental school I was an art teacher at one of the best elementary schools in Missouri. I taught grades K-5 and absolutely loved it. We moved back to Arkansas (Conway) summer of 2007. Jason is a dentist in Conway and I am a stay at home mom. I miss teaching so much and will hopefully return to teaching when Kohen gets older. But as for now, I love staying at home with my sweet, sweet baby boy.
