Saturday

Kohen has been a trooper today. We were out and about for awhile today. We went to TJMaxx, Best Buy, and three different furniture stores! That's a pretty good workout when you have to get the car seat and stroller out that many times! Jason and I laughed today while we were in Best Buy because of how often we go there. We said that Kohen has been to Best Buy more times in his first 3 months than any adult has been in a lifetime! One reason for us going so often is because we've been trying to buy Wii Fit FOREVER! They're sold out in pretty much every store and online and they're too expensive on ebay. A few weekends ago Jason went to Best Buy first thing in the morning...when he got there they had already sold out. He went across the street to Target and luckily they had two left so we got one. I have had so much fun on with Wii Fit- it's awesome. I get a pretty good workout on it. I do yoga, aerobics, strength training and balance games. I took it to Arkadelphia to let my parents try it out last weekend. It was hilarious watching my mom "ski" :)

Mom's last day

Today is my mom's last day to work at Arkadelphia Medical Clinic. She started working there 27 years ago when I was 18 months old. It's very bitter sweet because my parents will be leaving my hometown and moving to Maumelle...But I'm also happy because they will be closer to Conway! Last weekend when I was in Arkadelphia I was having "health issues" so my mom and I went to her office for her to run a few tests on me. I took a picture of her working.

Shelley's birthday

Today is my sister's birthday! Jason, Kohen and I met Shelley, Adam and Scott at Kobe in Little Rock for dinner. I forgot my camera so I had to use the one on my cell phone, that's why the pictures are a little blurry :)

Play time

Jason's mom told us about this fish aquarium crib toy that moves, lights up and plays music. We bought it at Wal-Mart for like $35.00. It's one of Kohen's FAVORITE things! It's so nice to lay him in his crib while I can get a few things done and he's totally entertained. It even comes with a remote so I can start it over without him seeing me come into the room. I love doing dishes or folding laundry while hearing him laugh at the swimming fish in his crib! It's so cute!

3 months old

Today Kohen turned 3 months old!!! It was such a pretty day today. Melanie (my cousin) and her daughter, Caroline asked us to go for a stroll. We met at the walking trail off of Salem and had lots of fun taking the kiddos strolling. Below are a few pictures.

No longer the baby of the family

Kohen isn't the baby of the family any longer! Jason's sister, Julie, had her little girl on January 12, 2009. Her name is Julianne. AND my sister, Shelley let us know last Thursday that her and Adam are expecting baby #3 in September!!!! Jason and I are so excited that Kohen has/will have cousins close to his age to grow up with!

Little Artist

This is Kohen's first "masterpiece" with a little help from mommy! The greens are his footprints. It took FOREVER to get him to relax his tootsies long enough to make a print on the platter...and we had to do it five times!

Time with Daddy

So...upstairs in our house is what Jason likes to call the "Man Cave". This is where he has his golf stuff, gaming consoles, weight lifting stuff (that he never uses :), basically anything I don't want downstairs goes up there. Well, just about EVERYday Jason and Kohen go to the man cave to play xbox and have "quality" time together while I'm downstairs doing laundry, dishes, you know the fun stuff. Sometimes when Kohen gets fussy, Jason likes to say it's because he wants to go to the man cave to play xbox! I have to admit...Kohen takes very good naps in the man cave!
Jason also likes to show Kohen his putter collection and head cover collection and tell him all about each one. It's pretty sweet. Jason is designing a custom putter right now for Kohen! Jason always talks about strapping the car seat onto the golf cart! I can tell right now that Jason will always be an active dad in Kohen's life. Kohen is so lucky to have such a great daddy!!!
I went upstairs to take some pictures of the guys but Kohen was asleep...below are the pictures

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! We spent New Year's Eve at home with our little family of 3. Kohen stayed awake to watch the ball drop! It was fun watching all the people in Times Square because Jason and I were just there not too long ago (with Kohen in my tummy!)
Today we went to the Phelan Farm to visit with family. David, Christie, Matthew, Natalie, Adam, Shelley, Max, Maddie, Mom, Dad, Jason, Kohen and I were there to celebrate the new year. I even ate PEAS!!!! In this picture Jason is holding Maddie and Maddie is holding Kohen. We spent the day opening "left over" Christmas gifts, spraying silly string, riding the 4 wheeler, chasing the chickens, playing catch phrase, sitting by the fire and popping fireworks. What a fun new years day!
