Just wanted to share this with you.... I wrote it two days ago....
"It is 4:56 a.m. on Christmas morning... I heard Kohen crying over the monitor so I got up to check on him. I walked quietly through the living room where Scott and Kristin were sleeping (and where Santa had definitely come to visit). I opened Kohen's door and could see through his window that we left the Christmas lights on all night. His head was too close to the railing of his bed so I scooted him back and he fell right back to sleep. I walked back to my bathroom to pee. I grabbed a pregnancy test. It was the second test in a box of two. I took the first test two days ago. It said "NO". After I took the test I carried it and placed it on my nightstand. I crawled back into bed. My feet were freezing. I put my freezing feet on Jason's legs. I checked the pregnancy test and it showed a little clock. I checked the monitor and saw my sweet baby boy sleeping. I was glad I turned up his thermostat one degree after leaving his room. My feet were warm by now. It crossed my mind, "what if I really am pregnant?". I layed there for a little while longer. I grabbed my phone and pressed the button so that it would light up. I put my phone over the pregnancy test. It said "YES". I covered my mouth with my hand. I absolutely could not believe it. I laid there not knowing what to do. I wanted to wake Jason up SO bad and tell him. I wanted to run through the whole house yelling it! My whole family is at my house for Christmas! How can I keep it a secret? So, what did I do?.... I grabbed my lap top and am now in Jason's office blogging! LOL! I have a baby in my belly!!!! HA! Has it hit me yet???? I don't know....! How am I going to tell everyone? I think I might put the pregnancy test in Jason's stocking.... I'm SO excited to tell him! Oh my goodness.... How do I tell my sweet 26 month old that his mommy is going to have a brother or sister???? I just can't believe it!
Ok... I HAVE to try and get a little more sleep before all the kiddos wake up and want to see what Santa brought them... This is the BEST Christmas ever!"
