Lovin Life

My son.... the dentist :)

We have had SO much fun playing outside lately in this nice weather!

This is our next door neighbor, Ashton.  Kohen and Ashton are about 4 months apart.  They LOVE playing together!

He always has his tongue out!

Daddy having fun throwing Kohen in the air...

Next day....  playing outside with Ashton again :)

Sweet boys!  We look forward to these two growing up together.

Jump time!  Kohen and Ashton on the trampoline...

Later that day, we headed to the golf course....

(Jason doesn't usually wear scrubs to the golf course.... he worked earlier this day)

We forgot to bring Kohen's golf clubs, so after he was trying so hard to hit the ball using Jason's clubs, we ended up going back to get his clubs....

Kohen was watching his Daddy very closely and doing just like his Daddy did!

I think these boys could stay out here all day!

One of Kohen's favorite things to do... feed the ducks!

These are my two favorite ducks.  They are there, in the same spot, everyday.  We drive up and stop our golf cart and they immediately come out of the water and waddle up to us :)

I was getting ready for bed last night and I saw Dentin sitting there and I thought he looked so pretty, so I took a few pics.  He desperately needs another haircut...  I can't believe my "first born" is about to be 8 years old!  I love you Dentin!!!

16 weeks preggo

I lay awake at night thinking about if "it" will be a boy or girl.  We find out on March 30, 2011 at 4:00pm what the sex is.  I'm about 99.9% sure it's a boy.  I find myself thinking about Kohen's little newborn outfits and how excited I am to be able to use all of his clothes again....  I wonder what in the world I'm going to do in the new nursery that won't make Kohen jealous that it's not his room- so pretty much that includes trains, planes and automobiles....

I'm starting to feel a little better.  I still have days of nausea, fever and exhaustion, but at least there are fewer days like that.  I am starting to show.  It makes me happy this time.  It freaked me out a little the first time around, but now that I already have the stretch marks and flabby belly from my first pregnancy, it's not as big a deal for my belly to grow!
I washed and hung up all of my maternity clothes recently.  I'm a little worried about how they're going to fit this go around....since I had my breast reduction....  I may not be able to fill them up like I used too!  THAT will be a GOOD thing! lol

I'll leave you with this picture....Kohen is ALL boy!

What's in a Name?

This is a picture of Jason's Grandfather.  Theodore Pryor Smith.  This is also where Kohen gets his middle name!  I think it is AMAZING how much Jason and his grandfather look alike!  The picture is copied on a copy machine, so it's not very clear....

This is what Jason's Dad wrote about this picture:  "Dad, as a young man, I believe around 16 years old. He would conquer the art of guitar playing and go on to form his own band and tour mostly south Arkansas.  He and his band played on live radio at the grand opening of KELD radio station in El Dorado.  He could have gone on and made it big in Nashville, TN, but he chose instead to stay in Dallas County and raise a big family.  For this I'll be forever grateful."  -James H. "Daddy! Hug!"

This past weekend Jason trimmed our crape myrtles.  One of the trees was outside Kohen's window.  Kohen wanted to help very bad!  I opened the window so he could see and talk to his daddy while Jason was working.  Kohen pushed the window screen out as soon as I opened the window.  He kept reaching for Jason saying "Daddy!  Hug!".   There were limbs falling everywhere, so it wasn't safe for Kohen to "help".  So poor baby watched and cried the whole time Jason chopped the tree :(

Oh, and yes, he's once again in his pj's (and shoes) in the middle of the day :)

I can not get Kohen to drink juice.  He just doesn't like it.  He LOVES apples, but just not fond of apple juice.  I gave him this little juice box and he drank a little bit of it....

On another subject...
I don't think I've ever mentioned Kohen's pupils on my blog before.  His left pupil is a little bigger than his right....  don't know what this means, if anything...  It's not like this all the time, but I've been noticing it more and more lately... sometimes it's a major difference and sometimes it's slight.

New Trampoline

We are the proud owners of a new trampoline!
Kohen loved jumping on the trampoline at my sister's house, so we decided we would get one too!  The only problem is, is that this trampoline didn't come with "Maddie" to jump on the trampoline with him!
It was no easy task setting this tramp up.  We thought we had level enough ground to put it on.... but we were wrong.  So, Jason had to dig trenches into the ground to get it level.  The whole process took about 3 days (or should I say nights...with flashlights....).

Jason's dad was at our house the first day we started putting the tramp together....

Saturday morning Jason let me sleep in.  I woke up to an empty house.  I finally found my boys in the backyard jumping.  So I grabbed my camera and took a million pictures....and yes, I posted just about all of them...

(Kohen is still in his pj's!)

I think Daddy is tired :)

TIme to slide!

Later that day....  We got the pj's off, but still no pants on :)
